By using this website you agree to these terms. The site is operated by The Pediatric Expert, the medico-legal consulting practice of Ayush Gupta, MD, and is intended for attorneys and law firms evaluating pediatric expert witness services.

Nature of services

Services include case merit review, medical record analysis, written expert reports, deposition testimony and trial testimony in pediatric and pediatric emergency medicine matters. Work is accepted for both plaintiff and defense counsel and opinions are formed independently on the medical evidence.

No attorney-client or physician-patient relationship

Nothing on this site is legal advice, and submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship. This site does not provide medical care or treatment and does not create a physician-patient relationship. Content is general information for legal professionals only.

Engagement and conflicts

An inquiry is not an engagement. Work begins only after a conflict-of-interest check is completed and a written engagement agreement covering scope, fees and deadlines is signed by both parties. Availability, turnaround commitments and fee schedules are confirmed in that agreement.

Confidentiality and records

Case information shared with us is treated as confidential. Do not submit protected health information, medical records or patient identifiers through the website forms; records are exchanged after engagement through a secure channel agreed with your firm.

No guarantee of outcome

Opinions are based on the records and information provided and on accepted standards of pediatric care at the relevant time. No representation is made about the outcome of any case, settlement, motion or verdict.

Intellectual property

Text, images, articles and clinical reference tools on this site are owned by The Pediatric Expert and may not be copied, republished or used commercially without written permission. Clinical calculators and guideline summaries are educational references and do not replace independent clinical judgment.

The site links to third-party resources and uses third-party scheduling, email and analytics services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.

Limitation of liability
